Welcome to UIDAI Developer Portal. This portal is targeted to developer community who are interested in building Aadhaar enabled applications. If you are not a developer or new to Aadhaar and UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India), visit uidai.gov.in. Unique identification project was initially conceived by the Planning Commission as an initiative that would provide identification for each Aadhaar number holder across the country and would be used primarily as the basis for efficient delivery of welfare services. It would also act as a tool for effective monitoring of various programs and schemes of the Government.   UIDAI is now providing a Sandbox environment for the developer  community to easily integrate and test Aadhaar authentication services  with their business application flows. The intended audience are: a) Authentication User Agencies eligible to use Online Auth / eKYC services b) Any entity accepting offline KYC XML through Aadhaar Holder consent using mAadhaar Please click here for details needed to use the Sandbox environment.
