When Mandatory Biometric Update is to be conducted?

1. When child attains an age of 5 years all biometric (Photo, Finger Prints and both Iris) data would be recorded. A de-duplication would be done for the child at this stage. This request will be treated similar to a new enrolment request while retaining the original Aadhaar number. This biometric update is free of cost.

2. When Aadhaar number holder attains age of 15 years, should furnish all biometrics (Photo, Finger Prints and both Iris) for update. This biometric update is free of cost.
