What is an Aadhaar Verifiable Credential in the context of the Aadhaar App?
An Aadhaar Verifiable Credential is a digitally signed document issued by the Authority to the Aadhaar Number Holder. It may contain the last 4 digits of the Aadhaar number, demographic data such as name, address, gender, date of birth, and photograph of the Aadhaar Number Holder, and such other information as may be specified by the Authority. These credentials may be shared by the Aadhaar Number Holder, in full or in part, with an OVSE in the manner specified by the Authority, for verifying the demographic information or the photograph of the Aadhaar Number Holder
