Enrolment & Update

Option 1:      Aadhaar number can be retrieved and downloaded by visiting an Aadhaar Enrolment Centre in person through “Print Aadhaar” option by providing Enrolment ID and authenticate yourself by (finger print or iris). This service is chargeable at Rs. 30/- per print.

Option 2:      You may also order Aadhaar PVC card from https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/genricPVC by providing Aadhaar number or Enrolment ID along with date and timestamp. This service can be availed even if your mobile number is not linked with your Aadhaar.  In such case you can order PVC card by providing any mobile number to receive OTP for verification. The PVC card will be dispatched to the address which was provided at the time of enrolment. This service is chargeable at Rs. 50/- per Aadhaar PVC card.

Option 3:      Call UIDAI Helpline number 1947 (Toll Free).

• After selecting Language option, Key-in option 1 (request status) followed by option 2 (request of Aadhaar enrolment status).
• Enter the Enrolment ID number available with you.
• Enter DOB (DD:MM:YYYY) and after that enter the area Pin code
• If match is found IVRS shall communicate the Aadhaar number.

Option 1:      Please Visit an Aadhaar Enrolment Centre in person and inform the operator that you want to avail ‘Print Aadhaar` service. Provide the following mandatory information: Name, gender and district or Pincode as provided by you at the time of enrolment. If needed, additional available demographic details such as year of birth, C/O, State etc. may also be asked for narrowing down the search. After biometric authentication (fingerprint or iris), if a match is found, the operator will provide printout of the Aadhaar. This service is chargeable at Rs. 30/- per print.

Option 2:      Call UIDAI Helpline number 1947 (Toll Free). After selecting Language option, Key-in option 9 (talk to call centre representative).

• Provide Demographics details (Name, Address, Pincode, DOB etc.) to the representative.
• If match is found, Enrolment ID will be provided on call by the representative.
• Once Enrolment ID is obtained.
• Call UIDAI Helpline number 1947 (Toll free) again. After selecting Language option, Key-in option 1 (request status) followed by option 2 (request of Aadhaar enrolment status).
• Enter the EID number provided to you by the call centre representative.
• Enter DOB (DD:MM:YYYY) and after that enter the area Pin code
• If match is found IVRS shall communicate the Aadhaar number.

No change is required as of now. You may keep using the Aadhaar till any further intimation in this regard by UIDAI through website or any other modes.

All resident foreign nationals (Indian VISA/LTV holder, OCI card holder and citizen of Nepal/Bhutan) who resided in India for 182 days or more in 12 months immediately preceding enrolment application date are eligible for Aadhaar enrolment as resident foreigner.

Yes, resident foreign nationals who resided in India for 182 days or more in 12 months immediately preceding enrolment application date are eligible for Aadhaar enrolment by visiting Aadhaar Seva Kendra and submitting demographic details (supported by valid documents) and biometrics details. 

 Resident Foreign National to apply on form no. 7 or form no. 8 for enrolment. 

Documents required for enrolment as a foreigner having valid Indian VISA given below:

POI: Valid VISA, along with valid foreign passport issued, to foreign nationals.

POA: Valid Registration Certificate or Residential permit issued by Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) /Foreigners Registration Office (FRO) to the foreign national

Aadhaar issued to Resident Foreign National shall have validity period mentioned on it as under:
1. In case of Indian VISA including LTV holder as validity of VISA.
2. In case of OCI card holder and Nationals of Nepal and Bhutan validity 10 years from the date of enrolment.

Yes, citizens of Nepal/Bhutan can enroll as Resident Foreign National for Aadhaar.

Documents required:

POI: Passport of Nepal/Bhutan for nationals of Nepal/Bhutan. In case passport is not available, any two of the following documents having the same address may be submitted:

(a) Nepalese/ Bhutanese Citizenship Certificate.

(b) Valid Voter Identity Card issued by the Election

Commission of Nepal/ Bhutan.

(c) Limited validity Photo Identity Certificate issued by Nepalese Mission/ Royal Bhutanese Mission in India.

For POI: Valid Long-Term Visa (LTV) document, along with foreign passport (valid or expired), of the country of origin, issued to nationals of Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

For POA: Valid Long-Term Visa (LTV) document OR

Any document having Indian address from list of valid supporting document.
