Aadhaar Samvaad - a collaborative innovation for best services
The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is organizing a Conference ‘Aadhaar Samvaad’ in Mumbai on 20th January 2025 (Monday), which aims to bring together stakeholders from various industries comprising of financial institutions, banks, insurance companies, fin-techs, telecom service providers, etc.
The key objectives of Aadhaar Samvaad include:
- Identifying and aligning new use-cases for Aadhaar in various industries.
- Integrating cutting-edge technologies and solutions within the Aadhaar framework.
- Building partnerships with technology providers, product developers, and system integrators.
- Scaling existing and emerging Aadhaar services through industry collaboration.
- Prioritizing and executing initiatives using a structured, collaborative development approach.
Conference and Working Groups
As part of this initiative, UIDAI is organizing the Aadhaar Samvaad 2025 Conference in January in Mumbai. This event will bring together stakeholders from banking, NBFCs, telecom, fintech, and other industries to drive collaborative innovation. The conference will also serve as a launchpad for thematic working groups that will operate over the next 2-3 years with the following focus areas:
- Customer App-Based Aadhaar Services: Enhancing Aadhaar integration with banking, NBFC, and telecom apps.
- Aadhaar for FinTech Innovation: Developing cutting-edge financial solutions leveraging Aadhaar.
- Service Availability and Resident Experience: Improving visibility and availability of Aadhaar authentication services.
- Preventing KYC Fraud: Establishing robust mechanisms to detect and mitigate Aadhaar-related KYC frauds.
