Can individuals without proper document permitted to enrol for Aadhaar?

Aadhaar enrolment is a document based process where applicant to submit proof of identity (POI) and proof of address (POA) at the time of enrolment. To record date of birth of applicant as 'verified' in Aadhaar, document to prove the date of birth (PDB) to be submitted.

In case an applicant does not possess valid POI and/or POA document he can enrol for Aadhaar under HOF mode by submitting proof of relationship (POR) document, containing the details of applicant and HOF. In case of HOF enrolment address in HOF's Aadhaar shall be recorded as address for the applicant. If PDB document is not available, DOB can be recorded as declared or approximate.
