My online address update request got rejected for invalid documents. What does this mean?
Aadhaar update requests to be supported by valid/proof of address (POA) document. A request can be rejected for invalid document in following scenarios:
1. The Proof of Address(POA) document should be a Valid document, as per document list available at List of Supporting Document
2. Document is in the name of the Aadhaar holder for whom update request is submitted.
3. Address details entered should match the address with the address mentioned in the document.
4. Image uploaded should be clear and colored scan of original document.
