The UIDAI enrols residents of all ages, including infants. However, biometric information is not collected for children under the age of 5 years. For children under 5 years of age, their Aadhaar is linked to one of their parents or guardians. These biometrics needs to be updated again when they attain age of 15 years.

It is recommended to provide full name instead of initials for e.g. B.K Sharma should be written as Brij Kumar Sharma. Review that photograph captured by the operator is correct and recognizable.
