Yes, citizens of Nepal/Bhutan can enroll as Resident Foreign National for Aadhaar.

Documents required:

POI: Passport of Nepal/Bhutan for nationals of Nepal/Bhutan. In case passport is not available, any two of the following documents having the same address may be submitted:

(a) Nepalese/ Bhutanese Citizenship Certificate.

(b) Valid Voter Identity Card issued by the Election

Commission of Nepal/ Bhutan.

(c) Limited validity Photo Identity Certificate issued by Nepalese Mission/ Royal Bhutanese Mission in India.

 POA: Any document having Indian address from list of valid supporting document.

Yes, OCI card holders can enroll as Resident Foreign National for Aadhaar.

POI: Valid OCI card, along with valid foreign passport.

Yes, LTV holders can enroll as Resident Foreign National for Aadhaar.

Documents required

For POI: Valid Long-Term Visa (LTV) document, along with foreign passport (valid or expired), of the country of origin, issued to nationals of Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

For POA: Valid Long-Term Visa (LTV) document OR

Any document having Indian address from list of valid supporting document.

Communication/acknowledgement slip received with SID number is valid.

 SID number starts with letter ‘S’ and followed by 27 digits.

1. When child attains an age of 5 years all biometric (Photo, Finger Prints and both Iris) data would be recorded. A de-duplication would be done for the child at this stage. This request will be treated similar to a new enrolment request while retaining the original Aadhaar number. This biometric update is free of cost.

2. When Aadhaar number holder attains age of 15 years, should furnish all biometrics (Photo, Finger Prints and both Iris) for update. This biometric update is free of cost.

(i) If done once between the age of 5 to7 years: Free
(ii) If done once between the age of 15 to 17 years: Free
